NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN LILAC STREET HOMICIDE

(6/13/2008) NEW HAVEN- Earlier today, New Haven Police arrested 32-year-old Nakia Donnell Walker in connection with the fatal stabbing of Roderick Maynard Wiggins on Saturday, June 7. At around 5:30 this morning, Walker turned himself in to police on an outstanding failure to appear warrant for a separate matter but was later charged with murder for the Lilac Street incident. Walker is being held on a $1 Million bond.
